First Friday Rocktober Sale Oct 5, 2007 6-10pm

Join Arizona Crafty Burrito Collective (ACBC) this Friday, October 5, 2007, from 6-10pm at First Fridays. Their will be many ACBC artists gathered at the Great Arizona Puppet
Theater, 302 W. Latham Street, Phoenix to sell our handmade items.

ACBC is an Etsy group (aka a street team) of artists that sell their handmade items on etsy.com. If you can't make it this Friday, please, visit etsy.com and check out this wonderful community of people, who support the indie craft movement, and the artists, who sell their the arts and crafts.

The first Friday of each month there is a free self-guided tour of downtown Phoenix galleries, studios and art spaces. It's called First Friday. First Friday is organized by
Artlink, a nonprofit organization "...dedicated to bringing together artists, the public, and businesses for a greater understanding, appreciation, and promotion of the arts
and the development of a strong and vital downtown Phoenix arts community.

This whole e-commerce experience is new to me. As I try to get things up and running on my website, etsy and this blog, it seems I don't find the time to work on my designs. Which is the part I love!

As some of you know, it has taken me 6 months to get to a point that I actually feel like I know what I am doing on the web. Every morning, I have these grandiose ideas that I will get it all done...take & pick up KK from school & cheer, clean up the house, walk Angus & Rowdie 2 or 3 times, make a sale etsy, make my personal website perfect so I can sell items there and craft a beautiful *insert whatever my inspiration for that day may be*.

* IT NEVER SEEMS TO HAPPEN THE WAY I PLAN *

And now the day is winding down, almost time for bed! Another day has gone by and I didn't make a sale on etsy, I didn't even touch my website and I haven't created anything!

Tomorrow's another day....
